Marble is a classic and versatile material that will elevate any space. As a marble and granite company, we talk a lot about countertops, but what about other uses for marble slab? Take a look at these marble staircases that are sure to inspire.
Whitewood, or Cloud marble is a very popular stone right now. The subtle variation in color between pale grays and white, combined with the linear pattern associated with vein cut limestone makes is a fantastic choice for a modern home design.
Floating stairs are always an interesting element in modern design. This small set in a warm beige marble is perfect because it doesn’t obstruct the view through the space.
This white Statuary marble staircase is a perfect example of using a classic material in a modern design and pulling it off perfectly. We are also loving the way the crisp staircase meets the large Brazilian Black slate tiles.
We custom fabricated and installed this curved staircase, as well as the 24×24 tile that runs throughout the main floor, using Crema Marfil marble in a home in Salt Lake City.
Each tread on this staircase has been fully wrapped in a beautiful cream colored Italian marble. We have Positano and Naturella marbles in our slab yard currently and both bundles are beautiful. Using the same marble in large format tiles on the floor keeps the look consistent and the space feeling fresh and modern.
